Role Overview
EGT is looking for local and nationwide Agents to join us!
We are seeking motivated, self-driven Telecom & Technology Field Sales Representatives to join our team as Referral Agents. In this role, you will leverage your B2B network, local and nationwide business connections, and direct outreach skills to identify and connect businesses with EGT's full suite of technology and IT services.
You have total flexibility: set your own schedule, work locally in the field, and determine project profit margins in collaboration with EGT to maximize your earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Prospect & Lead Generation: Identify local businesses, commercial facilities, and organizations needing upgraded IT, telecom, or security solutions.
- ✓Consultative Pitching: Conduct active discussions to understand business pain points (e.g., outdated cabling, slow internet, cyber risks, or inefficient VoIP systems) and recommend tailored EGT services.
- ✓Quote Preparation & Deal Closing: Collaborate with EGT specialists to generate competitive quotes, set project profit margins, and finalize service contracts.
- ✓Network & Territory Expansion: Build long-term relationships with local property managers, commercial clients, and business owners locally and nationwide.
- ✓Pipeline Management: Utilize EGT's online Sales Portal and tracking tools to register leads, generate quotes, and manage client follow-ups.

We offer an uncapped, performance-based tier structure:
Agent (Entry Level)
20% commission on total profit for every personally closed deal.
Senior Agent (Team Leader)
20% base commission + 8% override on sales produced by agents you recruit and manage.
Account Manager
25% base commission + 5% override on assigned team performance.
Supervisor & Sales Director
Senior leadership tiers with up to 10% overall team profit overrides.
Note: EGT provides flexible deal margin negotiation, allowing reps to push profit margins upward (+45% to +65%), yielding average commissions of $200 to $800+ per deal or higher depending on project scale.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- ✓Experience in B2B field sales, telecom, low-voltage/structured cabling, or IT solution sales preferred.
- ✓Strong local and nationwide networking capabilities within the commercial real estate or business community.
- ✓Self-motivated with strong communication, active listening, and deal-negotiation skills.
- ✓Basic familiarity with business technology, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity concepts.

📊 Org Structure & Reporting Chain
⚠️ Only Senior Agents and Account Managers may recruit new Agents. Supervisors are appointed by Sales Directors.
⚠️ Minimum Performance Requirement
A minimum of 10 deals must be closed per month to continue as an Agent. Stay active, keep your pipeline full, and maintain your Agent status.
💡 Set Your Own Profit Margin
You have the opportunity to determine your own profit margin by working with EGT to set the profit margin for each quote. You are the best judge of what your prospect can pay depending on your research on the client.
The number of deals needed to reach your financial goal can be more or less — and you can go far beyond that goal. Be creative and let's work together.
